There are some families that just feel effortless in front of the camera — the kind where the connection is so natural that the session simply flows. This maternity session was exactly that.
I’ve had the joy of photographing this family through multiple milestones, and every time they step in front of my camera it’s filled with laughter, movement, and so much love. Watching their family grow has been such a gift, and this time we were celebrating something especially sweet: baby number four, lovingly nicknamed “Muffin.”
One of my favorite parts of this session was capturing the relationship between mom and her children as they prepare to welcome their newest sibling. The excitement, the hugs around mom’s belly, the giggles and cuddles — you could already tell how adored this little baby is.
This mama looked absolutely radiant, surrounded by the little ones who love her most. Moments like these are a beautiful reminder that maternity sessions are about more than just the pregnancy — they capture a meaningful chapter in the story of a growing family.
I also loved the opportunity to step outside of my own studio and flex my creativity in a completely new space. This Fishtown loft had so much character, and every corner offered something different to work with. The incredible cathedral windows were an instant favorite, flooding the room with beautiful natural light and giving us the chance to create images that felt both soft and dramatic.
This Fishtown studio gave us so many creative options:

The variety made this session feel both intimate and artistic, and I left feeling so inspired by the chance to create somewhere new.
