What should my child wear?

For a true heirloom look, choose pieces that have a collar, smocking, lace trim, etc. When you book, you’ll receive a confirmation email with a full list of my favorite local boutiques and heirloom brands.

You can also enjoy to convenience of our complimentary Heirloom Children’s Closet. With a variety of sizes from 6 months through 5T, if you don’t have your own sentimental piece, enjoy the convenience of our studio wardrobe!

How long does a session last?

Sittings can take anywhere from 5-30 minutes, depending on the age and cooperation level of the child. Some little ones need a little “warming up” before their real personality comes out. Therefore, there’s no exact time limit on these sittings. Just patience to create the portraits I know you’ll cherish for the rest of time!

How long does it take to receive my final portraits?

Your fully edited images will be available for selection within 2 weeks after your session. Once you’ve chosen your favorites, printed artwork typically arrives within 4-6 weeks.

How do I book a session?

Because Heirloom Portraits are a luxury, limited offering, I only accept a select number of bookings each season. To reserve your session, please fill out the Contact Us form.

Where do the sessions take place?

All heirloom portrait sessions take place in my studio, where I can carefully control the lighting and background to achieve the signature heirloom look.
